Welcome to my art website! I am an experienced artist who specializes in the beautiful art forms of calligraphy and watercolor. With over four decades of experience in the field, I am thrilled to share my passion and creativity with you.

Art has always been an integral part of my life, and I have dedicated myself to exploring various artistic mediums. However, calligraphy and watercolor have captured my heart and allowed me to express my artistic vision in unique and captivating ways. The elegance of calligraphy and the vibrant colors of watercolor inspire me to create new ideas and paintings that truly resonate with the viewer.

Originally from Michigan, I embarked on a remarkable journey that brought me to San Diego, California, where I currently reside with my loving family. While studying in Michigan, I met my husband, Stanley, who has been my constant support and inspiration throughout my artistic career.

Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and passion for art by teaching numerous art classes. The Poway Adult School has been a wonderful platform for me to impart my skills and techniques to aspiring artists. Additionally, I have actively participated in esteemed art organizations such as the Watercolor Society and the Calligraphers Guild, which have further enriched my artistic journey.

While calligraphy and watercolor remain my primary focus, I am always eager to explore new artistic avenues. Origami, with its intricate folds and delicate beauty, has become a cherished pastime for me. I also enjoy continually expanding my artistic repertoire by learning new painting techniques that enhance my creative process.

When I'm not immersed in my artwork, you can find me indulging in a couple of my favorite pastimes. Bird-watching has become a source of solace and inspiration, as observing these graceful creatures in their natural habitats fills me with wonder. I also cherish moments spent walking along the ocean with my beloved grandchildren, where the serenity of the waves and the vastness of the horizon ignite my imagination.
